This weekend it is supposed to be 70 degrees here in Michigan.  However last weekend we had snow.  From snow to shorts in one short week.  It has indeed been a tale of two Springs this year.

Brown dawgs don’t care if we get a Spring snow.  They make the most of all kinds of weather.  When we got a good inch of snow last weekend they were excited to get out to play.

Despite the snow last weekend, hubby and Freighter were able to get out for group training this week.  Freighter even got in some water work.

We have plans for more training this weekend.  It will be nice to be outside without freezing.

Do you have any big plans for the weekend?

  1. that’s a clever trick to bury toys in the snow… you haven’t to dig them out that happens automatically :o) have a super weekend and a super training time :o)

  2. While the sun had been out, a cool eastern breeze has chilled the air. Pups went swimming Tuesday, although it was more of possession competition than play. With the sunshine, Erynn is on squirrel sentry duty and Macha is soaking up the rays…Ball time and walks along the river towpath are on the calendar. Pond temperature is a just plain cold! Macha could use a wetsuit!
    Hopefully Spring is finally here!

  3. I love to see them having fun in the snow! The snow we’ve gotten recently hasn’t really been enough to play in….just enough to leave behind a muddy mess when it melts! We’re looking forward to some very nice weather too and hope to get out for some walks. I’m sure we will have lots of ball playing too…its nice to finally have some dry ground to play on!

  4. We’re having the same kind of spring (or should I say springs?) here! Barley loved playing in the snow this weekend, but my hands were freezing as I tried tossing balls around for her. This weekend, I’m celebrating not needing a coat and thinking about mowing my lawn. Such a strange season!

  5. Last week we were running the fireplace, this week we have the windows open. There is no in between anymore!
