Winter lingers on here. Snow lingers on here. I am so sick winter and sick of snow. Our dogs aren’t. Chessies love snow.
The dogs love to chase each other through the snow.
Storm loves to play with her kong in the snow.
Thunder loves to jump snow piles.
And then there is Freighter.
Who needs to jump over snow piles? He likes to run through the snow piles. Just like a Freighter-train.
Freighter also still likes to eat snow.
And to jump for joy.
When I see the joy on the dogs’ faces, especially the senior dogs, I can’t be too upset over our lingering winter. They so love the snow and you just never know what the coming year will bring for our 12 and almost 11 year old dogs.
So I plan to try to enjoy it.

We didn’t have snow this year – cold weather – but no snow where we live in South Carolina – and yes the dogwoods and azaleas have been in bloom for the past several weeks. I wish I could send some to you!

Wow, you still have a lot of snow! What fun to see the dogs enjoying it, that really does make it far more bearable. I really missed Cricket when we got our last storm….she was always the most excited about any fresh snow.
